Sa S-Files this weekend, nilaglag ng kaniyang mga friends, co-hosts and family si Joey Marquez. Ilan sa mga revealed secrets and hot issues was his possible future love life. In fact, there was a specific woman that the people have in mind: none other than the beautiful Jean Garcia.
Saan nga ba nag-start yung chismis between Joey and Jean? Apparently, it all began with a movie where they were able to work together. But the two were not really in touch with each other. In fact, it was only very recently na nagkita yung dalawa ulit sa popular club na Mbassy.
Syempre ang Joey, evade sa issue. Humirit pa ng “Kumuha kami ng visa actually.” When Pia asked him if it was true then that Jean is the apple of his eye, Joey tried one more time to brush it off with some jokes. But Pia, Paolo and Richard would not be denied this chance to put the birthday boy on the hot seat! The trio was determined to get the scoop!
Persistence paid off because Joey was finally gotten to admit that “sino ba hindi magkakaroon ng hanga sa kanya (Jean)? It’s always an honor to be linked to someone as beautiful as her.”
To this, what does the lady have to say? “Aminado naman ako na lumalabas kami pero amin na lang ‘yun. Siguro naman, right na namin ‘yun. Joey is sobrang mabait na tao, tapos matalino, tapos masayang kasama.”
She went on to say that Joey is very intelligent and that she is having a great time. How great kamo? Sabi din ni Jean “We’re just enjoying ourselves. We go and we’re just having fun.”

“I think the right time will be when everything is all settled. My past, my children, my priorities,” explained a now serious Joey. Kapag pamilya nga naman ang topic, it really is no joke to him. In fact, he warns any woman that, while he is still young, to not compete with his children because “you will lose.” Kasi nga naman, ang mga kids niya are extensions of himself at and very important to him.
As to the kids and their preferences for their dad, Joey says that they do not have much of a say when it comes to who he dates. But that doesn’t keep them from advising him to take baby steps when it comes to his next relationship. Ang gusto lang naman talaga nila ang maging happy ang dad nila. Sweet ‘no?
“Today I am very happy because my children are there. Kung may dadating man na magmamahal sa akin, thank you very much. But please, don’t just love me, love my extensions.”
